SQ2 Sanitary Sample Cooler

Designed specifically for taking high quality chemistry, TOC and microbiological samples from steam or heated recirculating water systems with minimal risk of contamination.

The use of high quality materials reduces the risk of sample contamination.  All sample contact surfaces are electropolished 316L stainless steel with Ra 0.25 µm (10 µin) surface finish.

The heat exchanger coil is self-draining and highly efficient as a result of the integral cooling water baffle.

Fully traceable materials are used – a full certification package is provided with each cooler.

100% 316L stainless fabrication with external mirror polish finish.

Easily cleaned and compact sanitary design to allow it to be located in clean areas (option for tri-clamp connections for cooling water). The compact design requires a minimum of space.

Sample outlet suitable for flaming.

Designed for either wall mounting using integral 316L stainless steel brackets with space to allow cleaning behind, or for portable applications where folding legs are provided.

Both fixed and portable models are designed to be steam sterilized (or dry heat sterilized/depyrogenated).

Portable cooler and folding legs are supplied in a tough ABS case for ease of carrying.

Option for portable submersible pump to allow cooling water to be provided from a local tank. Typically, a 2 gallon (9 litre) bucket of water will be sufficient to condense a 500 ml sample. Pump and tubing will fit into the ABS carrying case.
